Welcome to the 6th annual Slate Run Trail Race
A 25K/Half Marathon trail race through the remote and rugged mountains of Tiadaghton State Forest. The course will take runners through the Algerine Wild Area and Red Run sections of the Black Forest Trail that are full of technical single track, streams, and awesome vistas.

Both the 25K and Half runners will follow the same trail for the first 9 miles. At the Manor Fork camps, the Half runners will follow the road over to the last aid station and then onto the finish. 25Kers will take the trail up along the streambed and then up Old Supply Trail as always. The cut-off for this 9 mile section is 12 noon. This is 9 miles in three hours with one big hill and the rest being runnable. After 12 noon, ALL runners will be directed onto the Half course.

Registration opens July 1st, 2023 at 7 pm via Ultrasignup. The event is open to the first 400 runners/hikers or May 18th, whichever occurs first. Before signing up....there are NO REFUNDS, NO DEFERRALS, NO SWITCHES, and NO BANDITS for this event.
