Call of the Wilds Video Experience

Welcome to the Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest
The event will be held in mid-October, right at the peak of fall foliage. The 25K course will use the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run and of course, the infamous Torbert Trail to keep things entertaining. To reward runners after Torbert, we'll be sending you down one of the nicest downhill runs to the finish on Panther Run. The new 10K will have one big climb followed by a nice downhill to link back onto Panther Run and join the 25K to the finish. Just a reminder that these are not beginner courses. Please train accordingly as the 25K has over 5000 feet of vertical and the 10K has about 1000. Cut-offs for the 25K are in place to ensure a daylight finish.

25K Course cut-offs are as follows: Mile 5.5 by 11:30am, Mile 11 by 2pm. And mile 13 by 3:30pm. The cut-offs are based on finishing in the daylight. Expect this 25K to be one of the toughest races out there, as it’s the Hyner Challenge’s twin.

Registration opens December 16th at 7pm EST. The race is limited to 400 total runners between the two distances. The fee for the event is $80 for the 25K and $55 for the 10K. These are NOT entry level courses. Be prepared to take on some of the toughest trails in PA with over 5,000 feet of vertical for the 25K and 1,000 feet for the 10K. Torbert Trail awaits all 25K runners!!!!

NO REFUNDS. NO DEFERRALS. NO BIB SWITCHES. NO BANDITS. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

The difficulty of the Call of the Wilds 25k is unmatched in Pennsylvania and it’s, in my opinion, the most beautiful part of PA!
