Little Pine State Park, Waterville, PA

Welcome to the Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest
The 25K course utilizes the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Huntley, and of course, the infamous Torbert Trail to keep things entertaining. To reward runners after Torbert, we'll be sending you down one of the nicest downhill runs to the Finish on the Panther Run. The event is open to hikers as well but please be properly trained and ready to finish in under 7 hours. Both courses will use the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run trails, and of course, the infamous Torbert Trail to keep things entertaining. Registration for the 25k (below) is open to the first 200 runners. No Refunds. No Deferrals. No bandits. No exceptions.

The newly formed 50K course will follow much of the original COTW Marathon course we created back in 2014. Runners will start at the Park and will run about 1.2 miles north to join the right branch of the Panther Run Trail. At the top, runners will join the Mid State Trail and follow back down to the entrance of the Little Pine Campground. From there, the course follows the COTW Marathon course. Expect this 50K to be one of the toughest races out there. Registration for the 50k (below) is open to the first 200 runners. No Refunds. No Deferrals. No bandits. No exceptions.

These are NOT entry level courses. Be prepared to take on some of the toughest trails in PA with over 5,000 feet of vertical for the 25K and 7,000 feet for the 50K. Torbert Trail awaits all runners with 4 miles left to the Finish!!!!

Register for Call of the Wilds Mountain Fest 25k and 50k

The difficulty of the Call of the Wilds 25k is unmatched in Pennsylvania and it’s, in my opinion, the most beautiful part of PA!
